Office peeve
One of the DB developers here has this kind of annoying thing. He's a nice enough guy, pretty competent with the numbers. Terrible teeth, but that's beside the point.
When he gets a little overloaded, like frustrated or whatnot, instead of what most people would do, sigh or something, he says, "Wheeeeeeee!" Even that might, I stress might, be acceptable, but he has to do it in this sort of falsetto voice.
"Wheeeeeee!"
"Mike, we need the data cubes for Quality by the ten-thirty meeting."
"Wheeeeeee!"

Perhaps his wheeeee'ing is in response to his peavery about having to hear lines like that?
