This isn't a slam on their technical prowess (they all still have the chops), but if last night's Grammy appearance is any indication of things to come, I'd say it's going to be a dull show. Sting doesn't even hit the high notes anymore, and my favorite Police songs have him hitting the high notes (Synchronicity II, Every Little Thing She Does is Magic). If I wanted to hear Sting do the jazz lounge act I'd buy Bring on the Night and leave it at that.
I didn't see the Grammys last night. Ah, nostalgia though. I liked Sting back then, but knowing now what he became I just can't enjoy that music like I used to.
