The sounds of my job...

There's a low droning (sp?) hum, the sound of fans firing up for the air cushion of a hovercraft. In a couple of seconds, the steering props will kick on and the building starts this faint vibration.

It's kinda cool to go out there and watch them run the hover tests. I always wonder where the craft will go next, after the refurbishment. Some Marine installation, maybe the West coast.

Sorry, just musing. My eyes are killing me.
