Rain, rain, go away

Kids are engrossed in television while I try to figure out how we're going to spend our day. It rained plenty last night for the first evening of parades. Nonetheless, no cancellations. Gotta love the determination of a krewe to get out and throw beads.
All three kids coughed, hacked and wheezed their way through the night. Oddly enough, I slept pretty soundly for someone surrounded by sick rugrats. I think we're going to try to hit Morning Call this morning, as I've been promising beignets to Viv for a month now. The past two times I've had them, something came up to delay the visit. I also have to hit Target for something. Ah, Target, my discount kingdom.
