I'm amazed at the amount of music this town is getting lately. That's a sign, people. Get out and rock will ya'?

I found this little gem in my inbox this morning: Henry Rollins at HOB. Tom Jones is playing not too long afterwards. Tom Jones tix are $60!!! I also noticed that the John Mayer show already sold out (damned commercial music fans) and that CKY (!!!) is playing a week before Tom Jones. Dood, CKY!!! Maybe none of it matters since I've got to save up for both Halloween and VoodooFest.

Just thinking out loud. Move along.

Kung Fu Hustle

Fault me for not catching it at the show, but I've been waiting months for this flick to hit video. Today was the day! Jen, along with the bubblescent Yvette, came over to watch with Rob and I on the Rob-O-Tron plasma TV.

Fight scenes were flawless. Script was solid. Casting was perfect. Awesome movie. Definitely worth the rental, better yet the purchase.

Now I've got nothing but lame Hollywood remakes hitting video for the rest of the summer. Someone suggested we go bowling?
