This story is a great look at what life is like for most of the folks in my part of town. We don't get much press, but we feel the pain for every part of the city because we're in the middle of it all. Even though I was unbelievably fortunate to have escaped this level of damage, it surrounds our house, as half our neighbors dealt with these exact scenarios.

Ronald MacDonald accused of stealing from Wendy's

(11/28/05 - MANCHESTER, NH)- You'd think that just working at a Wendy's restaurant would be difficult for Ronald MacDonald. Now, the 22-year-old MacDonald -- no relation to Ronald McDonald, the clown -- has been charged with stealing money from a safe at the Wendy's.Police said the restaurant manager called police early Monday, saying he found MacDonald and another employee taking money from the safe at about 1:30 a.m.
MacDonald and Steve Lemay, 20, both of Manchester, were detained at the store until police arrived.

Wow. He's a lot uglier than I remember. Must have died his hair.
