I'll tell you what Carnival's for...
Feb. 15th, 2007 02:01 pmHot damn. I finished working with a guy in Windsor, Ontario, so I'm pretty much ready to start my Mardi Gras!!!
Dammit, it's cold though. 41 degrees is not normal for the middle of a winter's day in New Orleans. It'll be good and cold tonight, which really sucks because there's an awesome trio of parades rolling uptown. Not that the cold is going to stop me, of course, as a veritable army of friends and family are all going out to the beginning of the route. So out comes the Southern Comfort and the butane hand warmer! It's parade time.
