With great responsibility comes lousy pay
Mar. 30th, 2007 10:19 amSo, I just got a kind of another promotion. I was just made the account point-of-contact for everything related to the backup software vendor we use. That includes arranging purchases, recommending specific configurations, setting up product support and tracking licenses. Extending that, however, reveals a bigger possibility: since my company has just started using the software in an extensive implementation, there aren't many people (in a corporation of 45,000) that know anything about the application. I'm about to become the foremost expert for the entire company!
