Although widely known for 2001: A Space Odyssey and Rendezvous with Rama, it was Childhood's End that first captivated me to explore science fiction.
To you, Sir Arthur. You sent me to the heavens without having ever surrendered my earthly bonds. For that I thank you. May you forever fly in the Discovery.
