I'm back in New York, about thirty minutes from NYC.
I've had a tough day. Around a half hour ago, I entered a few commands with the wrong syntax. On a Solaris server it equaled "bye-bye". I erased five hours of work, as well as hosing the entire server.
So now I'm sitting here watching a brand new image get loaded on this machine. Twiddling my thumbs. When I could have been halfway through my catalog imports and raring to get data restored. Instead I look like a fucking idiot while my colleagues make small talk about my Unix admin skilz.
On the upside, I had a wickedly good lox and cream cheese bagle for breakfast.
