Perhaps you're acquainted with my deep, resounding love for the
Hubig pie. When the Hubig bakeries fired up the ovens post-K, I bought a dozen, consuming them slowly, savoring their flavorful fillings. Since then I've adopted a habit of buying one every time I visit the grocery (which is the Mid City Rouse's if you really give one).
Anyway, I prowl that rack every visit, scouring through the pies, searching for that "something else". You see, Hubig has a stock of regular flavors: lemon, apple, banana, pineapple, coconut and chocolate. Occasionally I stumble upon the rare sweet potato or the mighty peach, both delicious.
