I know it's an old and tired event for some folks, but Jazzfest is a holiday for this house. 2009 is the 40th anniversary and I think they've booked a solid show again. Check this out:

And wasn't she just at JF in the past few years?

Not to say that's a deal-killer, as demonstrated by the bi-annual appearance of Widespread Panic's three hour set at the Fairgrounds.
