United transatlantic flight diverted to Boston

A United Airlines flight from London to Dulles International Airport was diverted to Boston with an escort by U.S. fighter jets today after a woman passenger became unruly, officials said.

The Transportation Security Administration said there was no indication that the incident was related to terrorism and denied media reports that the woman had a screwdriver, Vaseline and a note referring to the al-Qaeda terrorist network.
